30-HOUR OSHA
Course Description:
The 30 hour OSHA class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. It provides more in-depth training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the construction industry. It also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. It is taught by an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) authorized instructor. Students receive a card acknowledging they have completed the class.
10-HOUR OSHA
Course Description:
The 10-hour outreach courses provide basic awareness training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. The course also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and filing a complaint. The 10-hour course is intended for entry-level workers.
