32-HOUR RIGGING SUPERVISOR
Course Description:
This course is a requirement for an individual – who is not a licensed rigger or a designated foreman of a licensed rigger – to supervise the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment. In lieu of completing this course, an individual may instead possess a department approved national rigging certification. Per 3316.9.2.1 of the 2014 NYC Construction Code, this course covers several topics as they relate to rigging in construction, including an overview of OSHA and DOB codes and procedures. Upon completion, students will receive a photo ID card, valid for 4 years.
16-HOUR RIGGING SUPERVISOR REFRESHER
Course Description:

To continue to supervise & use hosting equipment in New York City, the designated Rigging supervisor must successfully complete this 16 Hour Rigging Supervisor Refresher Course four years following completion of the 32-Hour Rigging Supervisor Course & every four years thereafter. Upon completion, students will receive a photo ID card, valid for 4 years.
16-HOUR RIGGING WORKER
Course Description:
This course is a requirement for an individual – who is not employed by a licensed rigger – to perform rigging or signaling work in conjunction with the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment. In lieu of completing this course, an individual may instead possess a department approved national rigging certification.
